New Arriva Buses | B&RLE MCV Evora

Arriva Bus UK - BV72 KMF

Welcome back to my Blog. It's been a few months since I last posted on here. However I am glad to be back with a new update for you all. Today I finally got to sample Arriva Bus UK's New MCV Evora Buses. these are Volvo B8RLE Chassis's with MCV Evora Body. I have to say they are fantastic buses, I am very much looking forward to doing a full journey on these. The bus service's they are operating on are, 310 - Skelmersdale & 68 - Bootle & Aigburth I believe.

Arriva Bus UK - Queen Square Bus Station

My thoughts on these brand new buses from the short ride I managed to take on them earlier this morning. They were very comfortable, smooth, clean and enjoyable. They also have Onboard Announcements as well, which are loud and clear and quite consistent too. They also have USB Points at every seat on the Bus, 2 USB Port's per seat. I am very much glad to be back on the BUS Scene here in Merseyside.

From the photo's I've taken whilst on the bus, you can see that the seats have great comfort, they are also much better than what you find on the new Merseyrail Class 777 Trains. You can see that there are  2 USB port's for each person on the bus. The onboard display showing the destination, each stop, road & also whether or not you would be coming up to a Train Station on the Merseyrail Network. I am very much looking forward to documenting the launch of the new Publicly Owned buses to be introduced later this year.

As for new buses in Liverpool, these are brilliant, I do hope that in the future, Birkenhead will start to update it's fleet, as they are starting to age! My aim for this blog, is simply to update it as and when I get out around Buses. However my verdict on the new Buses are I really like them and I am rather jealous that we don't have any in Birkenhead Yet.

Finally, you can see the interior is rather nice, modern, clean & spacious. Plenty of seats, the lighting is also really nice. As I mentioned earlier, the ride was very smooth, not as shaky as some of the older buses in Arriva's Fleet. I am planning to take a full journey on this Bus sometime in the next couple of weeks, so do please keep an eye out for that.

Once again, thanks for reading, I look forward to seeing your comments and what your thoughts are on these brand NEW Buses.
